Jeju Chapter

Nested in the East Sea of South Korea is the beautiful island of Jeju, where our Hwarang Jeju stands. Founded in 2021 by passionate students from two schools, Hwarang Jeju doubled its numbers to over 20 members across four international schools.

Our vision is to create a better, sustainable future for Jeju Island and our community. Over the past several years, Hwarang Jeju has participated in services in various areas and is continuing to spread its scope. The most notable activity is the beach clean-ups at the Shinchang beach which have been continuing every month since the foundation of the chapter. In addition to the regular beach clean-ups, we take pride in the annual Earth Hour challenge, raising awareness about climate change and energy conservation. Beyond our regular activities, we organized charities and fundraises for donations and made donation aids for underprivileged families. Recently, we are committed to the EM mudball project, to purify stream waters in Jeju. We are now looking forward to more projects that involve collaboration with outside organizations and bringing fresh ideas and perspectives.

President Inroduction

Hello, I am Yubin Park, the current President of the Jeju Chapter. I have been a part of this chapter since its foundation and have actively participated throughout the years. Serving as Treasurer and Secretary in the past two years has been an incredibly rewarding experience, and I hope my time as President will be equally memorable when I reflect on it in the future. I am hoping to see our Jeju Chapter grow and reach further and am also wishing myself to grow as an individual along with the Chapter.
