Dear Hwarang International Family,

We have achieved significant milestones through our collaboration with the US headquarters and the International Team. We're united by the values of Hwarang that transcend time and borders. Our partnership about redefining our mission, sharing profound experiences, and providing leadership & service opportunities for growth fueled by our collective passion. In Hwarang, what begins as volunteer work evolves into powerful and long-lasting experiences shared by many.

This year, we will focus on solidifying the structure of our seven Korean chapters and strengthening our bond through open and flexible communication. We strive to increase collaborative initiatives between chapters and support new chapters.

My name is Si-hyun Park, and I’m honored to serve as the Kyeongin District Officer for the 2024~2025 school year. The Kyeongin Chapter comprises chapters WickUs and BeWick from Chadwick International in Songdo, Incheon, and Sena Chapter from Korea International School in Gyeonggido. In particular, the Wick chapter, which was one chapter until last year, has been divided into two chapters this year, showcasing Hwarang’s growth and influence. Hence, as a member and leader of Hwarang, I will try my best to engage in various activities with great pride and responsibility.

Over the past five years, Hwarang has been a major part of my growth, not only shaping me personally but also allowing me to make a meaningful impact on our local community. Hwarang is more than just a platform for service; it’s an organization that empowers its members to grow into future leaders in countless ways. As the Kyeongin District Officer, I am eager to foster a collective environment where the Wick chapters can reach great achievements in cooperation with the Sena Chapter.
