Founded in 2016 as one of the pioneering chapters in the Korean District, the Sena Chapter at Korea International School continues to uphold its founding legacy through an expanded and deeply impactful portfolio of community service.

At the heart of our mission is our evolved Senior Center Outreach, where members not only conduct monthly visits but have also developed and filmed a custom Cognitive Health Exercise routine shared widely via YouTube to support elderly well-being. Our environmental and civic commitment has similarly scaled; building upon our Gangneung Ecological Restoration project, members personally delivered emergency bottled water and fire extinguishers to drought-stricken senior communities—a vital relief effort officially recognized with a prestigious Citation from the Governor of Gangwon State. Furthermore, this year we extended our dedication to local wildlife conservation by launching the Tancheon Otter Protection Project, solidifying the Sena Chapter's role as a proactive force for both human welfare and environmental stewardship.
