Hangang

Founded in 2023, Hwarang Hangang Chapter is an organization that serves as a platform for high school students who are committed to providing assistance to those in need within their local communities. To achieve Hwarang's goal of fostering a global community through the implementation of practical forms of support, the Hangang Chapter has dedicated itself to serving individuals across a wide range of backgrounds and abilities.

Hangang members have supported children from multicultural families at the Geumcheon Dream House, donated consistently to the Carbon Zero Shop, created and produced alternative reading materials for the visually impaired on a weekly basis. Due to these efforts, the Hangang Chapter received the Outstanding Volunteer Group Award from the Seoul Welfare Center for the Visually Impaired.

Since last year, Hangang members have participated in braille book production, accompanied visually impaired individuals on walks, and provided volunteer services at various public facilities. Looking ahead, the Hangang Chapter plans to expand its reach by supporting children with severe disabilities at Raphael's House. We hope to make sure that no person is excluded from our community.
